We stock a wide range of winter equipment for all types of activity. Walking crampons and axes for winter skills courses and Ben Nevis guided walks, technical ice axes and crampons for winter mountaineering and climbing courses. Our winter boots are top of the range La Sportiva B3 boots which means they are perfectly suited to winter courses and ascents.

Multi-Day Package Hire
Climbing, mountaineering, hillwalking and other related activities are potentially hazardous. It is the individuals own responsibility to learn and understand the proper techniques associated with safe participation in these activities and to fully accept and assume all risk, damages, loss, injury or death which may result from the use of the items available to hire. Individuals are responsible for the safe fitting of crampons to boots and Scottish Mountain Hire will not assume any liability arising from poor fitting of equipment.
